Become a Facilitator

What is a Facilitator?

We view Startup Weekend Facilitators as an extension of our core team. They are our support on the ground at all of our events around the globe. We rely on them to be stewards of the Startup Weekend mission and ensure every community has an amazing experience.

As Startup Weekend continues to grow rapidly we have realized how critical it is to protect our global community and bring in the right Facilitators to help further our impact in the best way. Thus, we defined our “Core 7” which are committable core values that we hold every Facilitator accountable for.

Our Core 7 Values

  1. Community! Community! Community!
  2. Stewards of the Startup Weekend Brand & Experience
  3. Sorcerers of Energy!
  4. Flexibility
  5. Connector
  6. Humility
  7. Empathy

To learn more about our Core 7, please read our Startup Weekend Facilitator Core Values Document (PDF).
