We view Startup Weekend Facilitators as an extension of our core team. They are our support on the ground at all of our events around the globe. We rely on them to be stewards of the Startup Weekend mission and ensure every community has an amazing experience.
As Startup Weekend continues to grow rapidly we have realized how critical it is to protect our global community and bring in the right Facilitators to help further our impact in the best way. Thus, we defined our “Core 7” which are committable core values that we hold every Facilitator accountable for.

All Facilitators are required to go through the Facilitator Training Course on Udemy before becoming an official Startup Weekend Facilitator. If it’s been awhile since your last facilitation we encourage you to revisit the training to brush up on best practices. Password to the class is: GreatEvents!
Join our Facilitator Facebook Group and meet fellow facilitators from around the world. This (private) group is a fantastic forum to ask questions, share success stories and tackle sticky problems you may encounter while at an event.
